The Oti Region after it's creation became topical amongst all the regions created simply because the NPP thought it would be a cool chop for them to win in some  Constituencies if not all but unfortunately, they have lost even the single one they had prior to 2020 Election.

The victory of the NDC did not come on a silver platter simply because as a newly created region, experience, strategies and tactics are key if a party like NDC was actually determined for victory.

After the regional Executives who hailed from Oti Region have taken their analogous positions in the newly created Oti Region, there was the need to conduct a regional Election to get a full composition of the Oti Regional NDC Executives. The regional Election produced competent Officers who assumed their respective roles and acted in their various capacities as Regional Office Holders of the great NDC.

The leader of the party in the region is an experienced, strategist and a tactician who has led Volta Region in various leadership positions. His presence amongst the Oti Regional Executives has given a new paradigm shift of rescuing the only seat for the NPP in Krachi East for NDC.

Today, the Oti Regional NDC can boast of winning all the eight(8) seats in the region. This came as a result of  a pragmatic leadership in the region, the Parliamentary Candidates, the Constituency Executives and all the branch Executives not forgetting of the party members in each Constituency.

Credit must also be given to former Government appointees, Council of elders in the region, Stakeholders and all the various Committees for being pro-active in discharging their mandate.

Though the NPP in their usual legal gymnastics move had filed a suit against the election of Hon. Hellen for the results to be nullified but the strong defense put out by her legal team led by indefatigable  counsel Lawyer Edudzi Tamakloe rendered the NPP's case against her useless and the court has consequently validated her election.

As we go through the reorganization of the party to re-capture power and win all our seats again in 2024, let continue to work more harder devoid of intimidations, villification, selfishness and greed. The Akuffo Addo government has failed the good people of Ghana and the only viable party to rescue the Country is National Democratic Party to be led by H.E. John Dramani Mahama.

When you create a monster, be ready when the creation turns against you one day. Mr Koku Anyidoho who has created a monster of himself, must be ready to face the consequences of his own creation.

When Mr Koku Anyidoho took H.E John Dramani Mahama to the cleanest with insults, attacks and humiliation, some comrades sat aloof and watched to the extent of defending his anti- party behaviour.

When I petitioned for his misconduct to be looked into and cautioned, I was villified, attacked, insulted, denigrated and threatened.

It became clearer that, his misconduct against the stalwarts of NDC including H.E John Dramani Mahama was beyond control and for that matter he was dismissed; some people nearly decapitate me.

Today, Mr Koku Anyidoho has turned to the grave of the late president J.E.A Mills and only God knows what exactly he wants.
Mr Koku Anyidoho is only interested in how to become relevant again after he has lost his dignity and his reputation thrown to the dogs.

Am not surprised when the family of the late president Mills has threatened to deal with Koku Anyidoho for disrespecting them and desecrating the grave of the former president, what a big insult.??

Per our Ghanaian culture and values, it is proper for the family of the late president Mills to be at the center of every single redevelopment of the Asomdwee Park. Akuffo Addo and his government are always noted for the negatives and it will not be surprising if directives were given by Akuffo Addo for the redevelopment of the park without the knowledge of the family.

Koku Anyidoho's behaviour can best be described as "a funeral attendant who knows nothing about the deceased but weeping more than the bereaved ". Anybody that behaves as such is either having bad motive against the funeral donations or has the intention to satisfy him/ her self at the funeral before leaving for home.

And to comrades who used to defend him no matter how grievous his statement is, I hope you can now put on the analytical lens to analyze people's behaviour before jumping into conclusion.

Koku Anyidiho is more than COVID-19 and his
suspension and subsequent dismissal of him from the NDC is one of the best decision taken by the leadership of the party and that in itself shall give girth to NDC's Victory in 2024.

The NPP National Delegates Conference as usual made some delegates richer as aspirants were competing among each other to buy the conscience of the delegates with huge sums of money.

The same trend took place in both their Constituency and Regional Elections respectively.

It's now clear that, the tax payers monies were hoarded by the NPP government just to use it for their internal Election as was displayed in the just ended National Delegates Election.

The ostentatious spending at the NPP National Delegates conference is a testament of how they create, loot and share state resources.

This has absolutely led to the high level of Corruption under this government because most of them must steal in order to contest in their internal elections.

The Election of the National Executives didn't go free without the intra- politics of selecting leaders to occupy some key positions to reflect who becomes the flagbearer in their yet to be held presidential primaries.

The newly elected national chairman, Mr. Stephen Ntim and the secretary are described among the inner circles of the NPP as a pro-Alan.

It's now clear that, the trade minister Alan Kyeremanten had his chances brightened as key positions are occupied by his candidates.

The vice president, Alhaji Mahamud Bawumia has to do extraordinary magic in order to enable him win as a presidential candidate for the NPP since all his candidates have lost to the underdogs.

The recent election has proven that, the NPP has reclaimed its lost identity of "Asantes total capture".

The current crop of national leaders depict the come back of the Kuffuor faction which bitterly complained of gross neglect and disrespect by the Akyem mafias in government under the leadership of Akuffo Addo.

One thing that is also clear after this national delegates conference of the NPP is that, Dr. Bawumia has been used and dumped after the Akyem mafias have used him to their advantage.

He is likely to end his political career like the late Aliu Mahama who also hailed from the Northern part of the country.

It is time all other ethnic groups begin to do much introspective analysis on their recognition in the NPP or else, they will continue to be seen as inferior, aliens and unwelcome in the NPP.

It is also surprising to note that, the only Ewe factor in the contest, (i.e Kenwood Nuworsu) only managed to get 1% of the total votes casted.

It's regrettable to note that, the NPP led by Akuffo Addo is only interested in the welfare of the party and not the Ghanaian populace that made him the president.

The collective interest of an ordinary Ghanaian today is to save Ghana from collapse through the recklessness borrowing and mismanagement of the Country by Nana Akuffo Addo and the NPP.

Edul-Adha  is always celebrated to remember the Prophet loyalty towards God. Because of such action, the festival is also known as a festival of sacrifice.

Muslims celebrate this festival by sacrificing a lamb or an animal to show their obedience to Allah(God).

This year's celebration of Edul-Adha saw a decline in the percentage of animals used in sacrificing because of the general hardship currently facing the Country. For example, if the previous year saw about thousand (1000) animals used in sacrifice per a District, this year's festival witness a sharp decline of animals to  about five-hundred (500) animals.

Again, if a household used four(4) bags of rice last year for Eid, this year's Eid saw a reduction in the number of bags generally due to economic hardship that hsh affected pockets of individuals. This approximation was arrived at through  conjecturing and after speaking to correspondents in other Districts.

The truth is that, the excruciating hardship has eventually affected every aspect of our society including the Eidul-Adha celebrated.

I joined the Muslim Ummah and the Zongo Caucus Coordinator, Mr Dagara Abila at English and Arabic Park in Nkwanta South where the Deputy Oti Regional Chief Imam, Alhaji Amara led the Eid prayer.

Short sermon and prayer were said  after which the Zongo Caucus Coordinator gave a short speech and made donation on behalf of the Member of Parliament for Nkwanta South.

The Honorable MP who was also at a funeral of his colleague MP's mother in Tema, sent a well wishes and a joyous Celebration to his Constituents.

May the blessings in this year's celebration of Eid-ul-Adha grant us our heart desires.

We pray for Allah's intercession as we are faced with an unprecedented Economic Hardship ever due to recklessness and mismanagement by leadership.

Finally and most importantly, we pray for H.E John Dramani Mahama and the entire Ghanaians. May Allah grant them long life, good health, protection and above all, the spirit of endurance as we all continue to struggle under an endless economic hardship regime.
