Akuffo Addo has reduced presidency to Sex Scandal and Profligacy

*AKUFFO ADDO HAS REDUCED,   PRESIDENCY TO SEX SCANDAL, ABUSE OF POWER AND PROFLIGACY*

Developing story around the presidency  portrays a very disturbing image for the President of the republic of Ghana if proven to be reality.

The Presidency and for that matter the president is accorded an uttermost dignity because of how prestigious the position is held.
For the first time in the History of Ghana, a woman has challenged the sitting president Akuffo Addo for engaging in sexual affairs with her and subsequently staged a robbery attack on her at a gun point in order to retrieve some gadgets purported to have used to record some  private engagement she has had with the president.

The torture on the personality of the woman has indeed brought shame unto the presidency especially when he(president) had vowed to  protect the well-being of the  people and to do right to all manner of persons.
Again, the use of the National Security to cover his shame is worrying. This is an abuse of office by the president and calls for investigation.

The Profligacy is seen when the said woman admitted that, the president has indeed paid her  Hotel bills worth 230 dollars a night  for 10 nights.
Also, the agreed compensation package arranged by the president for the woman (Serwaa Broni) raises a far fectched question of what Serwaa Broni is being compensated for?? Why must the  presidency compensate someone for no workdone? A waste or protection of public purse??

The above attitude of the president  contravenes the spirit of the highest law of our lands and must therefore go unpunished.

In conclusion, we would like to commend well meaning citizens who have petitioned the speaker of Parliament to commence an investigation into the said scandal for an abuse of office and the exposure of Ghana to external threat.
We also commend the  minority group for issuing a statement on the said allegation on president Akuffo Addo and their readiness to hold public Officers accountable to the high standards set by the Constitution.
