Jean Mensa is more Evil than Akufo-Addo and the NPP

In the run -up to the 2024  Elections, the Electoral Commission led by Jean-Mensah and her commissioners planned to change the will of Ghanaians.

Unfortunately for them,  the power of the people became more stronger than those in power at the commission.

Fast forward, the commission after their failed attempt to subvert the will of the people in the Presidential election,  have now resorted to false declaration of some seats by deputy retuning officers just to favour the NPP.

Never in our history since the inception of the 4th Republic have we been told that, Parliamentary results in other regions other than Greater Accra were collated,  re-collated and declared in Accra and precisely in a security zone like Tesano Police Depot.

Our democracy is under assault from the EC and the ruling NPP (a party that was deeply humiliated at the just ended polls).

Of course, the socio-economic and political harms as well institutional defects caused by this Akuffo Addo- Bawumia government that need resetting cannot be underestimated but we trust in the JM and Jane led administration to restore Ghana on the path of dignity and prosperity.

Notwistanding their " strong election strategies" the NPP and Jean Mensah have being exposed to the core because all their machinations have  fallen flat.

A Critical Wake -Up Call to All Concerned Citizens

The current cohort of Senior High School students, now aged between 15 and 18, and their seniors, the Free SHS graduates, now aged between 19 and 24, were merely 8 to 11 and 12 to 17 years old, respectively, when Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia assumed the highest offices in our nation. They did so on the basis of promises that many now regard as deceptive. For the past eight years, these young individuals have known no other presidency but that of Akufo-Addo and his vice president, Bawumia. At the time of the 2016 and 2020 elections, they were too young to fully understand the realities and implications behind the campaign promises that were made.

Today, many of these youths may not be aware of the inconsistencies and unfulfilled promises that have marked these past elections. Consequently, they may be particularly vulnerable to the narratives and pledges currently being put forward by Vice President Bawumia, including recent commitments such as providing laptops and tablets to students.

It is crucial that we, as members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), along with concerned grandparents, parents, uncles, aunts, and other relatives, take proactive steps to educate and inform our youth. We must ensure that they are aware of the historical context and realities behind the political rhetoric they are exposed to.

We need to engage our young people in thoughtful conversations, equipping them with factual information and fostering critical thinking. It is important to emphasize the significance of scrutinizing political promises and understanding the long-term impact of political leadership on their future.

This is not merely a call to action, but a critical early warning. The youth of today will shape the future of our nation, and it is our responsibility to guide them with honesty and integrity, helping them to make informed decisions that will benefit their generation and the country as a whole. Recent promises by Dr. Bawumia, such as the distribution of laptops and tablets, should be approached with a critical perspective, given the context of past unmet commitments.

Let us come together in our efforts to cultivate a well-informed and discerning youth population capable of critically evaluating political promises and holding leaders accountable. This is not just a political imperative but a moral duty to our future generations.

Hon. Engr. Yao Gomado, MP.

Akan Constituency. Kadjebi District. Oti Region.

The MPs Caucus in the Oti Region are very much determined to deliver on their mandate which will consequently result in protecting the seat from the inept NPP government. This can be attested to by every objective person (be it an NDC member, a floating voter and even our political opponents) in the region.Their performance within their respective Constituencies as Legislators have shown that, they are working  assiduously in order to better the lives of the people they represent and to protect the seats for NDC in the next election.

Fast forward after the elections, the MPs have engaged in rolling out several Constituency centered activities aimed at expressing their gratitude to their Constituents for  reposing their trust and confidence in them in the 2020 election. It was in other words described as *thank you tour*.

All the MPs across the entire Constituencies have embarked on the thank you tour which has offered them another opportunity to interact with the members of their Constituencies and in some cases redeem their promises they made during the run up to the 2020 Election.

The Exercise has indeed made impact in their respective Constituencies.

Another remarkable exercise they have embarked on was the

Special Health Care Outreach Programs with the First phase fully completed in 2021 and series of such programs currently ongoing in their respective Constituencies.

This gesture is restoring sight to many of their constituents who were suffering from Eye related problems and had no means of financing the surgical procedure. The program also helped constituents to be early diagnosed of eye related infections which could have worsened their vision without this special intervention program by the MPs.

The MPs further strengthen the grassroots with special packages during festive seasons especially during the Christmas and Eid celebrations. This alone proves that, the grassroots can't be said to be forgotten after the elections. The MPs are doing everything humanly possible to be in touch with the people they represent.

The resistance with which the MPs fought the passage of  the killer E-LEVY in parliament is another testament of representing the interest of their people which was highly commendable as they unanimously joined the rest of their colleagues to fight for the interest of Ghanaians.

The turbulent moment we are going through as Ghanaians can only be eliminated if we all rise with a united front to fight the 2024 battle without compromising our loyalty, credibility and transparency as party faithfuls. It is surely going to be a do or die affair!

It is our firm believe that, the grassroots will continue to stand with our MPs as they protect our interest first and foremost as Ghanaians and as a political party ready for power in 2024.

Once again, we highly commend the effort of the MPs in Oti Region and urge them to continue to work hard for their Constituents, God and Country.

Not long ago, Ghanaians were greeted with the news of the man who has no credibility left on his Scorecard (Dr. Bawumia) composing another potentially failed team called a Campaign Team loaded with the players of the Failures League.

Just like how he has outdoored the Economic Management Team of which he was the chairman and today Ghana is her knees with bankruptcy, no one would have expected that, he will make his Boss Nana Akuffo Addo as one of his advisors to his campaign.

If indeed Bawumia in his recent uninspiring speech had distanced himself from some policy initiatives of Akuffo Addo, why then should such a failed president becomes an advisor to your campaign. Clearly, Bawumia is a fruit of the poisonous tree and nothing can separate him from the mother tree; Nana Akuffo Addo.

Ghanaians are waiting patiently to register their anger on the Government of Akuffo Addo and Bawumia for the unprecedented hardship on their lives.

It's is more insulting for Bawumia to put up himself for president when he knew very well that, they have failed Ghanaians with lofty promises that they could not achieved.

Infact the composition of the entire so called campaign team of Bawumia is just a recycled of incompetent personalities who think Ghana belongs to them and must continue to lead even when the parameters are pointing to the direction of failure and disaster.

It is more revealing that, Bawumia is spewing things he doesn't believe in and his public outcry is pretentious just for power.

A vote for Bawumia is a vote for Akuffo Addo and an endorsement of emptiness.

Bawumia now a Nuisance in Ghana's Politics

Just like how Akuffo Addo campaigned in Poetry and now governing in Prose, the Vice President of NPP and now a Flagbearer,  is on the same tangent of following the footsteps of his master Nana Akuffo Addo.

Bawumia was packaged and sold to Ghanaians as a  problem solver, an economist and a chairman of the Economic Management Team. A position president Akuffo touted Bawumia as  outstanding.

Most people have described Bawumia as pathological liar whiles others had referred to him as an inconsistent Vice President who is now caught up with his own words.

A descredited and dishonest Vice president with no intergrity left.

Bawumia is today distancing himself from all the Economic Policies  he supervised and implemented. Infact, he seems to exonerate himself from the ills decision of the NPP Government but unfortunately, he is been exposed.

All the Economic indicators  under his watch were unfavourable as Ghanaians continue to face an excruciating hardship in their living conditions.

Bawumia who knows no shame is telling Ghanaians to give him the opportunity to become president so he could abolish the regressive taxes they have imposed on  Ghanaians.

As a chairman of the Economic Management Team, he ought to have protected ordinary Ghanaians from the taxation that has become a nuisance on businesses, households and Poor citizens of the country.  No amount of any attempt can whitewash him from his failed role as Chairman of the Ecomimic Management Team. In effect, Bawumia must take responsibility of the collapsed and bankrupt Economy. Ghanaians have already decided to vote them out come 7th Dec. 2024.
