Oti Regional Chairman and His Executives Poised to work hard to Consolidate their Gains for Victory 2024

As Elections 2024 is fast approaching, there is the need for a retrospective analysis to position the party towards an overwhelming victory in 2024.

The Oti Regional Chairman who also doubles as Dean of all Regional Chairmen is determined to work hard with all his Parliamentary Candidates, Regional Executives, Constituency Executives, Branch Executives and all ward Coordinators in order to maintain the high standard of winning all the seats in the region. 

It would be recalled that, in the run up to 2020 Elections, the Regional Chairman together with his Executives and PCs, worked assiduously across every corner of the region that secured them all seats in the region. 

The NPP in the region continues to be unpopular because their government has lost credibility for not doing anything feasible for the good people of the Oti region. 

The projects of the erstwhile Mahama administration is what the people of Oti could boast of especially the E- Blocks, Hospitals, CHPS Compounds, Portable Water, Roads etc.

The NDC in Oti Region led by the hardworking Regional Chairman has encouraged his party members to be resilient, united and work hard towards maintaining the high standards of winning all their seats again in 2024.

The misfortunes of Ghanaians at the moment can not be turned around by the same NPP government or party that caused it; not even by any "saint" among them. We can only have of a sigh of relief from the economic quagmire when we all channel our energies towards the icon for "Building The Ghana We Want".

Leadership of the Oti Regional NDC is tipped to storm Assin North in the coming days so as to campaign vigorously and ensure a total and an overwhelming victory for NDC.

The NPP and the government meted out injustice to the people of Assin North just to denied them a representation in the parliament.

The manner and ways by which the Supreme Court handled the case has led to a travesty of justice as the Constituents also promised to express their anger in the decision making on 27th.

Hon.James Gyakye Quayson still remains strong on the ground as he fights to serve his people better 

The NDC's Flagbearer H.E John Dramani Mahama has earlier yesterday stormed the Constituency in order to help campaign for Hon.Gyakye Quayson. His presence in the Constituency is a testament and readiness of the party to ensure a total victory on 27th June.

As more and more of the party stalwarts storm Assin North to contribute their quota to the campaign, the leadership of the Oti Regional NDC would lead a team of the Regional Executives to also campaign in the Assin North till election on 27th.

A test case for NDC in 2024 election is the Assin North By-election and shall be a determinant of a sample space to the outcome of the 2024 Elections.

The NDC must win and win convincingly to send a signal to the corrupt NPP government and the compromised judiciary system that, irrespective of their gimmicks to get Gyakye Quayson out of Parliament, the voice of Assin North Constituents shall be unanimous in getting him re-elected again on 27th.

As part of the campaign tour of H.E John Dramani Mahama  following the launched  in Volta  Region, H.E John Dramani Mahama is scheduled to tour Oti Region from Sunday 16th April  2023 to Monday 17th April 2023.

The leadership of the Region  led by Regional Chairman  has since met the Constituency  Chairmen  to deliberate  extensively  about  his visit to the nine(9)Constituencies.

We urge the Constituencies  led by their  Chaimen to strictly adhere to the agreed  program outline to ensure a successful result oriented campaign tour by H.E John Dramani and the campaign  team

Oti Regional Chairman Crusading an Overwhelming Support for H.E John Dramani Mahama in all Regions

The Oti Regional Chairman who also doubles as the Dean of all sixteen (16) Regional Chairmen is leading a crusade of getting H.E John Dramani Mahama to scure an overwhelming Victory in the primaries and subsequently, a onetouch Victory in the 2024 General Elections.

The campaign manager for JM's campaign in the 2020 Election, Proff Joshua Alabi led the team to pick the nomination form for H.E John Dramani Mahama yesterday.

The Dean of Oti Regional Chairmen, Hon.John Kwadjo Gyapong gave a firm assurance of all Regional Chairmen supporting the candidature of H.E John Dramani Mahama" if you are talking about my regional Chairmen on one-on-one, I know that everybody supports John Mahama", he said.

According to him , Mr Mahama is experienced and the most popular person in the party, hence their support.

Undoubtedly, President Mahama stands tall above any of his contenders in upcoming  primaries. Ghanaians regrettably voted Akuffo Addo as president in 2016 and are now calling on former President Mahama to save them  from the Economic turbulent 

The Country is indeed heading towards a wrong direction and the only saviour is John Dramani Mahama.

Agenda 111 in Oti Region was a failed Promise and a Disaster

The Akuffo Addo/Bawumia government has not only failed in the management of Ghana's Economy but also incompetently failed in delivery of critical Health infrastructure for the people of Oti Region.

The agenda 111 as a flagship project by Akuffo Addo/Bawumia government was to provide health infrastructure for about 111 Districts across the Country of which Oti Region was of no exception. This promise made became a subject for discussion during the covid-19 pandemic. 

The visionary President Mahama's legacy on health infrastructure such as University of Ghana Hospital, University of Ghana Medical Center, Ridge Hospital amongst others became the lifeline for the Covid-19 patients. Imagine if such lifesaving health Infrastructures weren't available to even deliver health care to the Health Minister Agyemang Manu when he contracted covid??

Akuffo Addo wasted huge sums of money as mobilization to contractors without the contractors moving to site and in some cases showing very little for mobilization advanced after one year.

About four(4) contractors were awarded the said agenda 111 hospital in Buem but unfortunately the project is still at the feasibility stage let alone talk of starting with foundation.

Indeed president Akuffo Addo is on record to have stated that, all the Agenda 111 hospital projects would have been completed in Eighteen (18) months .He turned round again and said on 27th of March 2022 on his 28th update on Covid that, the agenda 111 hospital projects are currently underway and that by January 7th 2025, all the hospitals would have been commissioned.

Mr. Akuffo addo has an enviable and incompetent record of becoming a president who would always shift the goal post on his promises and turn around to blame the opposition on his inability to deliver.

On 30th January, 2023, The MCE for Jasikan Municipality took to the airwaves a warped and ill conceived press conference to defend the the indefensible financial loss her government is causing this nation which is consequently affecting the wellbeing of the people of Oti Region due to the delay in executing the project despite the huge sums of money disbursed as mobilization to the contractor. 

The MCE should stop behaving like a pregnant teenager who persistently insist with gross ignorance and living in a state of denial that she is still a virgin and not pregnant despite the glaring signs and symptoms of pregnancy with even USG scan confirmation pointing to 7 months old pregnancy which in some cases may qualified for preterm delivery or 2 months to delivery ;this is a classical example of how the NPP government since 2017 has been behaving. They never tell the truth despite every form of evidence against their lies. 

Since when did they get to know that, the site was sloppy and swampy?

Was there not feasibility studies before the site was chosen ?

To say the least, this is a flimsy excuse by the MCE and a woman of her nature shouldn't have sat behind the microphones to disgustly engage in exhibiting her ignorance publicly. 

Records available to the Communications outfit of the Oti Region proved that, over USD 1,161,630.91 equivalent to a whopping 142.6 billion old Ghanaian cedis was paid to the contractors that have been awarded the Jasikan Hospital project under the Agenda 111 secretariat. 

This amount could have been properly utilized to make the project running to an appreciable level but all that we can attest to at the site earmarked for the project is just the clearing of the site, a trench and a shed which was either done with cutlasses, shovel and mattocks.

Contractors are nowhere to be found and the site is gradually turning into a forest.

This is a clear case of causing financial loss to the state and the state machinery must ensure there is value for the tax payers money in this difficult times of our history.

All these resources given out without ensuring the work is done also add up to the national debt stock for generations thereafter to pay without realizing the supposed accrued benefits of the project. 

Oti Region as we speak today has no Regional Hospital for referral from the various health facilities in the Region.

Oti Region as we speak has no Public University after the creation.

Oti Region can not even boast of a modern market square as we have in other regions.

The Akuffo Addo/ Bawumia and Alan government has no blueprint for the region after its creation.

No wonder the NPP had zero seat in the 2020 Parliamentary Elections because the people of Oti Region has lost confidence in them.

We are calling on the supervising entity of the Agenda 111, "Hospital Infrastructure Group Ltd" to as a matter of urgency call back the contractors to site without further delay.

COMMUNIQUE ISSUED AT THE END OF THE NDC'S POST CONFERENCE RETREAT IN OTI REGION HELD AT KETE-KRACHI

4TH FEBRUARY,2023.

The Leadership of the National Democratic Congress(NDC) in Oti Region led by Vice Chairman, Nana Maxwell Siaw(Kenzy) has successfully ended a two(2)-day retreat in Krachi West, in the Oti Region.

This special retreat was attended by some  senior Comrades such as Hon.Slyvester Mensah, former MP and CEO of National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA), Former National Organizer and MP for Buem, Hon.Kofi Adams, Comrade Chief Biney, former Deputy National Organizer and Communication team Member and Lawyer Prosper Huetor National Deputy Diretor of Research.

Also present were the Regional Executives Committee, Regional Elections Director and Deputy, Regional IT Director and Deputy, Chairmen across the Nine (9) Constituencies and other leading members of the party.

The program seeks to Reposition Oti NDC for Victory 2024.

Situational reports were given by each Chairman across the Nine (9) Constituencies which was followed by incisive presentation from Hon.Sylvester Mensah, Lawyer Prosper Huetor, Comrade Chief Biney and Hon.Kofi Adams.

The key speakers touch on most sensitive areas such as Election trend analysis, Constituency Targets for 2024, Structure of the organizational Departments, Organogram of the party, Functions and roles of office holders among others.

The Regional Secretary adviced and also encouraged the Constituency Chairmen to always update the Secretariat about their planned activities in their Constituencies.

The host MP and former Volta Regional Minister, Hon.Helen Adwoa Ntoso  thanked the participants after presentation of a citation to a former organizer and executive member, comrade Amuda Romeo and urge them to work hard towards making NDC and H.E JDM victorious in 2024 Elections. 

The Vice Chairman on behalf of the Regional Chairman expressed their profound gratitude to all Comrades who avail themselves for the important exercise and is optimistic that, all that was discussed, would be put into practice at our respective Constituencies and branches towards 2024 victory.

Akuffo Addo knew and delibrately promised his false God of building Cathedral for him. Little did we know that, his promise to God was to use corrupt men of God to embezzle state funds/tax payers money

Infact, Revelations by Hon. Okudjeto Ablakwa has opened a Pandora Box of how some corrupt men of God connived with Akuffo Addo to extort monies from the poor tax-payers of this Country.

Akuffo Addo/Bawumia must be apologizing to Ghanaians for the hardship they have subjected Ghanaians to but unfortunately, they seems to be careless and only interested in robbing the state through some corrupt men of God.

The Christian Community must continue to speak on the corruption that has been associated with the building of the Cathedral. 

One of the virtues of christianity is HONESTY but the respected "men of God" on the National Cathedral Board seems to be covering lie with lies anytime there is a question to answer in relation to the said cathedral. 

Virtually, the Board Members have made it a routine behaviour to engage in black lies and blue lies to misinform the general public.

Are we building a so called cathedral of "mutual deceit" or to continue the mission of God as we used to know?

It is time, the respected "men of God" at the forefront of the National Cathedral project begin to do a much deeper introspective analysis on their alliance with the Akuffo Addo/ Bawumia failed government. 

This government has deliberately refused to prioritize our needs as a developing nation. 

They have succeeded in looting our resources with the help of some few cronies in cassock. 

Of what benefit is a national cathedral to a country that can not boast of efficient, effective and innovative health care delivery to her citizens?

Again, of what benefit is a national cathedral to a country that can not provide her citizens with good drinking water?

This Cathedral can not be the answer to all our needs.

During the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic, cathedrals, chapels and prayer camps were closed down at the command of Akuffo Addo while hospitals on the other hand were operating beyond capacity under the same government that has prioritize the building of Cathedral. 

Not even a toddler will think like the old men in this government including the "men of God" dining with them. 

To our "men of God", it is not too late to refuse to go down with Akuffo Addo/ Bawumia and his cohorts in government; a stitch in time saves nine!

To celebrate a Constitution Day under Akuffo Addo is just like an inmate kept in Nsawam prison for decades without any faith of been freed one day.

Regrettably under Akuffo Addo and NPP, the Constitution has lost the principles and the interest to protect Ghanaians.

No Day must be set aside again under NPP to celebrate any Constitution Day since the current 1992 Constitution under Akuffo Addo has lost its usefulness and has not worked.

The spirit of the cherished 1992 Constitution had disappeared into thin air under Akuffo Addo and hence no institution has ever worked properly.

If the 1992 Constitution is to see a new dawn, then not under the NPP government.

The Sanctity of the 1992 Constitution must be protected.

History can not be twisted forever to satisfy the ego and whims of an individual to the detriment of posterity.

Style of leadership under the current government over the past six (6) years has never been nationalistic in nature but more of a subversive system!

We must as patriotic citizens do away with this party (NPP) in the 2024 elections to avoid further injury to our 1992 constitution and to further protect the scripted and unscripted history of our dear nation.
